An “arts collective” turns to terrorism to enact a grand scheme of social justice, but their plans go awry when they realize they’ve been conned from within. With nothing to lose, they change tack and return to what they know best.

Pat Skipper has been a working actor for more than three decades. He is known for his work on The X-Files, Boston, Legal, Hellraiser: Bloodline, Bosch, Erin Brockovich, Seabiscuit, Mad Men…

He runs an acting worshop, Studio A and wrote a book "The Working Actor: A No Bullshit Approach to Winning the Acting Game. ".

« In Studio A, he trains Working Actors to be elite athletes. He has a BFA from Florida State University, an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks », Pat Skipper in The Working Actor.

The name's Yair Ben-Dor and I'm an Israeli-American actor who's proud to call NY home for the past 9 or so years I started out a mere child of 21, at the Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute and look at me now- a child of 30, who's resume stretches across America and includes stage productions ranging from small black boxes to big theaters, TV shows where I'm likely being arrested and films, oh films, my favorite- such gems like "Three Pregnant Men", "Suddenly, Banana", "War of the Cultures" (all google-able) and much more.

Helen Laser is an American-born actress hailing from Montclair New Jersey. She began acting professionally at an early age, and has received training and education from M professionally since the age of 8. She began her film career at 15, starring in an award-winning viral PSA about kindness. The video now has over 30 million views.

Most recently, Helen has appeared on television, in various stage performances, and has had an illustrious voiceover career.

THE TEAM

CHARLES W. LANE

Director

Charles William Lane is a New York based television producer, writer and director. Working mostly in the true crime genre, he has produced programming for ABC, CBS, NBC, Identification Discovery, CNN and the Oxygen Channel. He also has an extensive background in theater and music, which he draws from in his writing.


Charles’ first feature-length screenplay, “Identification: Laura Bracken,” has won awards at festivals across the globe, and his new short film, “The Hanged Man,” which he wrote, produced and directed, is the first in what he hopes to be a series of films for his new production company, Country Life Films. 



With an eye to the future, Charles hopes to produce and direct two other shorts he has written: one a psychological thriller about art, commerce, madness and murder; and one a comedy about Jai Alai and the vicissitudes of middle age. He also hopes to get the backing to produce his second feature-length script, a black comedy about espionage and the modern spy game.

MURPHY

Cinematographer

John L Murphy loves light. As such he is a cinematographer and has worked on a wide variety of films, television series, and media projects that include three feature films as well as countless short film films, amongst them the feature “The Idea of Manhood” which won best picture at the 2018 Phoenix Film Festival. He has worked with networks such as Travel, Discovery, and Food Network on doc style series, most notably “Uncommon Grounds” in which he traveled and shot in over 30 countries.


John did not begin his story telling career behind the camera, he began it in the theater, lighting for stage and live performance. He transitioned to film work after attending NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts carrying over his fascination of light from stage to screen. He now lives in Brooklyn, NY continuing his love affair and helping to shine a light on unique and interesting stories.

VAN DIJK

Composer

Dutch jazz saxophonist and composer Marike van Dijk has divided her time working and living between Brooklyn and Amsterdam over the past years. “Marike van Dijk’s writing has an organic quality; balanced and seems to find ratios and combinations that are based in nature. I find her music very intuitive and feel that she has great honesty.” (Pianist/arranger Gil Goldstein).

During her studies in New York (2011-2013), she started working on several interdisciplinary projects as a musician and a composer. Her latest endeavors include a new trio called Laika Into Orbit (piano/cello/sax) performing live music with film and composing a score for a Frisian children’s movie.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in composition at the University of Queensland in Brisbane (Australia). Before moving to Brisbane, she was on faculty at Hochschüle Osnabruck, Institut Für Musik (Germany) and worked as a researcher at Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (Belgium).
